Investment Fees in South Africa – Is Your Life RA Too Expensive?

According to the Association for Savings and Investment South Africa (ASISA), approximately 75% of long-term investments in South Africa remain within life insurance company structures.

That equates to around R4.8 trillion held in life companies, compared to roughly R1.6 trillion on Linked Investment Service Platforms (LISPs).
For investors, this matters.
Because structure determines cost.
